Longboard surfing is a great thing. It represents the soul of surfing, the essence. It's not about ripping up the wave, "shredding", or going aggro; it's about grace and style, smoothness and fluidity. Carving smooth, arching turns; cross stepping to the nose, dragging a hand against the face of the wave while in trim. Longboard surfing is truly a great sport.
